Glass Filled PTFE Filled Content

Selection of the appropriate percentage of glass fiber filler usually depends on the application requirements, and different glass fiber contents can affect the material’s performance.

  • 15% Glass Filled PTFE: This ratio provides some reinforcement while maintaining the low coefficient of friction and good chemical inertness of more PTFE.
  • 25% Glass Filled PTFE: This is a common formulation that provides good mechanical strength and wear resistance and is widely used in many industrial applications such as bearings and seals.
  • 30% Glass Filled PTFE: further enhances the mechanical properties of them.
