Gas-safe PTFE tape uses higher-density PTFE, is yellow-colored for line identification and meets ASTM D3308 for gas service. Standard white tape is lower-density and intended for water plumbing, so it should not be used on combustible-gas threads.
Is the tape rated for natural gas, LPG, propane and fuel lines?
