PTFE 글 랜드 패킹이란?
Peflon PTFE gland packing is a 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌(PTFE) material used for sealing and insulation. Also known as Teflon packing rope. It provides mechanical compression for complex applications in a wide range of industries. As an inert 불소중합체, PTFE resists virtually all chemicals, making the packing suitable for aggressive media that would attack conventional fibre packings.

What is PTFE gland packing used for?
PTFE gland packing (braided Teflon packing rope) seals rotating and reciprocating shafts and stems — pumps, valves, compressors, mixers and storage-tank agitators. Its inert PTFE structure handles aggressive chemicals, solvents, acids and bases that attack conventional fibre packings.
Pure PTFE or filled PTFE packing — which should I choose?
Choose pure (100%) PTFE packing for maximum chemical purity and food or pharmaceutical service. Choose a filled grade — glass, graphite, carbon or bronze — when you need higher mechanical strength, better thermal conductivity or improved wear resistance under load and speed.
What sizes and lead time can Peflon offer?
We braid custom cross-sections from 5 to 20 mm in square or round profile, cut to coil, ring or length. Standard delivery is approximately ten working days depending on quantity and filler type.
Is PTFE packing chemically safe and inert?
Yes. PTFE (CAS 9002-84-0) is chemically inert and non-toxic, so the packing does not contaminate the sealed media and resists virtually the full pH range — ideal for chemical, food and pharmaceutical sealing.
