What Is PTFE Coated Fabric?

Peflon PTFE dispersion (CAS 9002-84-0) is the raw material used to make PTFE coated fabric — often called Teflon coated fabric, after the DuPont/Chemours brand name for PTFE. Fabric coaters dip woven fiberglass in dispersion, dry it, then sinter at PTFE’s melt temperature, building an inert, non-stick, heat- and chemical-resistant film over repeated passes.
