Features and Benefits of Peflon™ FEP Foam Resin
- Foamed FEP is lightweight with excellent flexibility and fluoro resin properties.
- It improves cable insulation,
- Reduces smoke, resists flame and corrosion,
- Lowers production costs.
FEP Foam Resins are foamed by injecting gas while extruding. During the production process, as the gas expands, holes are formed. The nucleating agents added to the foamed FEP will guarantee the formation of pores, ensuring the formation of a foam structure in the extruded insulation or profiles. The Foamed FEP is used in flame-retardant cables with low smoke requirements and signal transmission cables in high-temperature environments.
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) resins are highly versatile materials with a wide range of applications across various industries.

Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) resin, renowned for its versatile properties, can be processed through various methods to create an array of products and coatings. Here are the primary processing techniques used for FEP resin:
Injection Molding, Melt Extrusion etc.
Molten FEP is injected into molds, cooled, and solidified to produce various parts.
Ideal for items like valves, connectors, and components.
FEP pellets are heated to a molten state and then extruded into continuous shapes, such as rods or tubes
Widely used for manufacturing wire and cable insulation, pipes, films, and rods.
