Valva, Pipe Liner

They are widely used in chemical and semiconductor industries for valve and pipe components due to their resistance to chemical corrosion and ability to maintain performance in high-temperature environments.

Medical Devices

PFA compression-molded parts are used in the manufacture of medical devices that require sterilization at high temperatures and pressures. For instance, medical-grade check valves and connectors made from PFA ensure the integrity and performance of medical equipment, even after repeated sterilization cycles.

Moulding FEP Resin Processing

PFA compression molding is a highly precise method for creating products from PFA resin. The process involves several key steps:

  1. Material Preparation: To start, PFA resin pellets are heated until they reach a molten state. This makes the resin ready for further processing.

  2. Mold Preparation: Molds, which are precisely designed to match the desired product specifications, are prepared. These molds can be single-cavity or multi-cavity, depending on the product’s requirements.

  3. Compression Molding: The molten PFA resin is injected into the mold, and it’s subjected to high temperature and pressure. This ensures that the resin completely fills the mold and takes on the desired shape.

  4. Cooling and Solidification: Once the PFA resin takes on the desired shape inside the mold, it’s cooled and solidified to maintain its stability and structure.

  5. Demolding: The finished product is carefully removed from the mold to avoid any damage.

  6. Quality Inspection: Each compression-molded product undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.

  7. Packaging and Delivery: Finally, the products are packaged and prepared for delivery to customers. At Peflon, we take pride in our speedy 7-day delivery time for high-quality PFA compression molded products.

Compression Molding

The molten PFA resin is injected into the mold, and it’s subjected to high temperature and pressure. This ensures that the resin completely fills the mold and takes on the desired shape.

Injection Molding

The PFA resin is heated in the injection molding machine’s barrel until it reaches a molten state. This ensures that the material is in a flowable form for injection into the mold.

Transfer molding.

The PFA resin in the heated reservoir is gradually heated to a molten state. Once the molten PFA enters the mold cavity, a hydraulic press or mechanical force compresses the material. Ensures that the material fills the mold completely and takes on the desired shape.
