Peflon produces the 14 Gauge PTFE Wire using PTFE fine powder and paste extrusion. The base fluoropolymer resins are supplied by upstream producers such as Daikin. The process includes:

  1. Extrusion molding
  2. Lubricant removal
  3. Sintering
  4. Cooling and finishing
  5. Quality inspection

The PTFE wire is produced compliant to RoHS, CSA, UL-1180, UL758, and UL1581, meeting Restriction of Hazardous Substances requirements.

How to Splice 14 Gauge PTFE Wire

If you want to solder the 14 AWG Teflon hook-up wire, you need to follow the standard. Each section should be at least 50 feet, and there can be no more than 4 sections per 1,000 feet, 8 sections per 2,000 feet, and 9 sections per 3,000 feet.
