PTFE Film Tape by Manufacturing Process
Peflon PTFE film processing is determined by the resin type — virgin PTFE, modified PTFE and more. Skiving produces precision gaskets and electrical insulation, extrusion molding produces industrial liner tubes and corrosion-resistant components, and coating processes are used on non-stick cookware surfaces and industrial adhesive tapes.

How is your PTFE film manufactured?
Peflon PTFE films are produced primarily through extrusion, skiving or calendering — depending on the target gauge, surface finish and end use. For ePTFE membranes we add a biaxial stretching step.
