What is PTFE / Teflon Powder?
PTFE powder — also known as polytetrafluoroethylene powder (CAS 9002-84-0) or Teflon powder — is a high-performance fluoropolymer resin with a service temperature range from −200 °C to +260 °C (−328 °F to +500 °F). Renowned for high thermal stability, non-stick performance and exceptional chemical resistance, it is ideal for coatings, lubricants, paste extrusion and compression molding processes across the widest range of industrial applications.
Teflon Powder by Processing Method
Different processing routes determine the final product's use and characteristics — choose the grade that matches your process.

Molding PTFE Powder
Includes automatic molding, isostatic molding and compression molding — pressed and sintered into gaskets, seals and billets.

Extrusion Grade Teflon Powder
Teflon fine powder by paste extrusion — tubes, tapes and wires. Presintered PTFE resin by ram extrusion — solid rods.

Teflon Powder for Additives & Fillers
PTFE micropowder and PTFE nanopowder — used as a performance additive or filler in inks, lubricants and coatings.
Peflon PTFE Powder by Product Form
Five product lines — ultra-fine for premium coatings through granular resins for compression and automatic molding. Each grade is engineered for consistent quality and processing efficiency, and produced to recognized specifications such as ASTM D4894 for PTFE molding resins.

PTFE Fine Powder
White loose powder. D50 300–950 μm. Processed by paste extrusion. For extruded tube, rod, film, sealing tape, wire & cable, elastic band and fiber.

PTFE Molding Powder (Granular Resin)
White, impurity-free powder. D50 15–300 μm. Processed by compression molding — excellent for sheets, rods, billets with good mechanical and chemical performance.

PTFE Micropowder (Coatings & Additives)
White free-flowing powder. D50 1–15 μm. For sub-micron grades down to PTFE nanopowder, see our dedicated grade. Ultra-fine for smooth non-stick surfaces — blends into elastomers, inks, PP, lubricants and electronics.

Filled PTFE Compounds (Enhanced)
Blended powder reinforced with glass fiber, carbon or graphite. Improved creep resistance, dimensional stability and wear performance — for demanding applications.

PTFE Pre-sintered Resin
White medium-particle resin. D50 300–900 μm. Excellent heat resistance. Made from molding powder — suitable for pipes, rods, sheets and tubes.
Applications of Peflon PTFE Resins
Recommended for electrostatic spraying, non-stick coatings, industrial coatings, lubricants, inks, engineering plastics and rubber elastomer modification.

PTFE Rod
Chemical, mechanical, electronic and electrical — corrosion-resistant parts, seals and insulators.

PTFE Skived Film
Electronic, electrical, chemical and mechanical industries — insulation and process film.

Sealing Tape
Pipe-thread sealing for chemical, petroleum, natural gas and related industries.

Molding Sheet
Chemical equipment, seals, insulation and mechanical gaskets.

PTFE Powder Coating
Non-stick cookware coatings — less oil, easier cleanup, healthier cooking.

PTFE Ink
Printing on electronics, textiles and industrial equipment — thin, durable protective film.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the service temperature range of PTFE powder?
PTFE powder operates reliably from −200 °C up to +260 °C (−328 °F to +500 °F) — suitable for cryogenic as well as high-temperature service across chemical, electrical and mechanical applications.
What's the difference between Fine Powder and Molding Powder?
Fine powder (D50 300–950 μm) is processed by paste extrusion for tubes, tapes and wire insulation. Molding powder (D50 15–300 μm) is processed by compression molding for sheets, rods and billets.
What is PTFE micropowder used for?
PTFE micropowder (D50 1–15 μm, including 1.6 μm grades) is used as a performance additive — blended into elastomers, coatings, inks, printing toners, lubricants and plastic compounds to reduce friction and improve wear resistance.
Are Peflon PTFE powders compliant with EU regulations?
Yes. All Peflon PTFE powder grades are EU regulatory compliant — full documentation and certificates of analysis are provided with every shipment.
