What Are PTFE Dehydrator Sheets?
PTFE dehydrator sheets — also called PTFE-coated fiberglass drying sheets or non-stick dryer liners — are woven fiberglass fabric coated with PTFE dispersion. The fluoropolymer coating gives a slick, non-stick surface that releases sticky and liquid products cleanly, tolerates high heat and aggressive cleaning, and can be reused for many drying cycles.
Because PTFE is inert and FDA food-contact compliant (21 CFR 177.1550), the sheets are widely used as non-stick liners in commercial food dehydrators and drying ovens, and as release media in industrial drying and dewatering.
