What is a One-piece Molded PTFE Wet-process Tank?
A one-piece molded PTFE wet-process tank is a semiconductor bath compression-molded as a single seamless part — not welded or bonded from PTFE sheet. Peflon molds these in one piece up to 600 × 450 × 315 mm on molds we design and build in-house, then prototype and validate before production.
PTFE is the reference material for wet benches because it resists essentially every wet-process chemistry — SC-1 and SC-2 (RCA clean), piranha (H₂SO₄/H₂O₂), HF, buffered oxide etch (BOE), HCl, HNO₃ and hot H₂O₂ — up to about 260 °C. The limit of a PTFE tank is not the polymer but the joints: welded tanks fail at their seams. Molding in one piece removes that failure mode.

Why is a one-piece molded PTFE tank better than a welded one?
A welded tank has seams that leak, trap and shed particles, and are attacked by hot chemistry first. A one-piece molded tank has no seams — uniform strength, purity and chemical resistance throughout.
What wet-process chemistries can it handle?
