How to use Peflon white PTFE tape?
Clean the thread pipes before applying the tape. Wrap clockwise (same direction as tightening) 3–5 turns with steady tension, keeping the tape snug against the thread. Press the tape into the thread form, then hand-start the fitting and torque to spec.
Is white PTFE tape reusable?
No. PTFE thread seal tape deforms into the threads once tightened. Remove all old tape when disassembling a fitting and apply fresh tape before reassembly to guarantee a leak-free seal.
